Toro 21844 Flex-Force 43cm 60v Variable Speed Cordless Mower Kit

The 21844 was new to the Toro 60v range of Flex-Force battery powered mowers from 2022. Choosing a cordless lawn mower for your garden is a good choice if you're environmentally minded as it's greener than the traditional petrol versions. No wires / electric cables or petrol and oil to deal with. The Toro 21844 is supplied with the 4Ah battery and standard charger to get you started. 4Ah batteries are recommended for general mowing where as the largest 7.5Ah are for mowing large gardens.

Toro also own Hayter so their 60v batteries , chargers and Flex-Force garden tools are interchangeable with any of the Hayter 60v products. The only difference is that the Toro is branded red. Toro recommend the 4Ah battery for the Flex-Force 21844 as it's the most suitable for normal mowing. The 4Ah battery is also perfect for using in the Toro FlexForce 60v garden tools.

The self-propelled Toro 21844 has a 43cm (17") cutting width so is suited to small - medium lawns and gardens. The grass catcher is of a solid plastic and fabric construction and fits easily onto the back of the mower. The 4 wheel design is suitable for most lawn types. Toro RunSmart™ software automatically adjusts the speed of the motor to match the working conditions so performance and run time are maximised. You can adjust the travelling speed of the mower to match your pace or working conditions.

The control handles can be folded down for convenient transport and storage with a centrally located carry handle to make life even easier. The 21844 can then be stored in an upright position for space saving. The battery is located at the front of the mower and can be easily seen through the transparent window. Batteries can be inserted and removed quickly with their carry handle.

This kit includes a 60v 4Ah battery  and standard 60v charger. The charger has an easy to read LED indicator to indicate when charging is complete. It can even be hung on a wall to save space. The battery has a LED indicator to show the charge level and built-in carry handle. It will also only charge when it's the right temperature. Charging time on the 4ah battery is 60 minutesIt's recommended that when the mower is being stored for any length of time the battery is removed. This is especially important during the Winter months as the damp can damage the battery. Keep the battery in a dry, warm spot and it will keep its performance come the Spring.
