Stiga CS 700e 14" (35cm) Experience Series 7 Battery Chainsaw (Bare Unit)

The CS 700e is a compact size chainsaw with a 14 inch cutter bar. The Experience level Stiga machines are built for durability and the more demanding home user. Designed to be used for longer working times the CS700e has lasting power and improved features over and above basic models. The chainsaw can be used with any 48v battery or charger from the Stiga 500, 700 and 900 Series range. Chainsaws this size are ideal for users who want a machine to use occasionally around the garden. Sawing, pruning larger branches or just logs for firewood are popular uses of machines this size. They usually lightweight and easy to handle.

Stiga recommend the 4Ah battery and single standard charger to go with the saw. Batteries are available from 2.0Ah - 7.5Ah. The higher the capacity the longer the battery will run but bare in mind that the weight also increases. The 7.5Ah will give the longest running time but is also the heaviest at over 2kg.

Although you don't need petrol for the CS700e you will still need to use a chain oil. This lubricates the chain and prevents friction on the bar. If the chain isn't lubricated friction will build up and generate heat which can seriously damage the machine.
