Mountfield Empress 51 Li 500 Series Cordless Lawnmower Kit

The Empress 51 Li is a 48v cordless rotary mower and part of the Mountfield Freedom 500 series of garden machines. The 4-wheel mower features a robust 51cm steel deck, self-propelled drive and 4-in-1 mowing options. The 500 series is powered by a 48v lithium battery system where one battery powers the whole 48v range. This includes the Stiga and ATCO range. A cordless lawnmower is quieter running without the restriction of cables.

With zero emissions and minimal running costs compared to it's petrol comparison, the Empress 51 Li is good for the environmental and a cost effective choice for your lawn.

The sturdy 51m steel deck includes an anti-scalp plate for protecting the ground and mower. The self-propelled drive and large rear wheels allow you to mow effortlessly and provide extra traction and manoeuvrability. There are 4 mowing options for your grass cuttings. The Empress 51 Li walk-behind mower has a large 60 litre grass box which comprises of hard top lid and aerated fabric, it also includes a grass bag full indicator to warn you when it needs emptying. For a quick informal finish, the rear and side discharge options deposits the grass cuttings in neat rows to the side and behind the mower. With the mulch plug fitted clippings are finely cut to a easily absorbed consistency, this breaks down to provide nutrient-rich fertiliser and lock in moisture at the grass root. The handle bars are height adjustable and fold for storage.

Using the recommend 2 x 5Ah batteries the Empress 51 Li is suitable for gardens up to 600sqm with a run time dependent on conditions of 25mins. 2 x 5ah batteries and the dual battery charger are included
