Mountfield MTF 84M – 1330M Petrol Garden Tractor

The Mountfield MTF 84M is a great addition to the Mountfield range of petrol lawn and garden tractors. With its overall width of 90cm it has been designed for gardens and lawns which need a garden tractor but have restricted access. The cutting decks have anti-scalp wheels fitted, the deck then 'floats' over the ground preventing 'scalping' and giving a cleaner cut. The manual transmission has 5 forward gears, reverse & with a turning circle of just 180 cm can equal the manoeuvrability of the smaller compact ride on mowers. The Mountfield MTF 84M lawn tractors cut wider than their wheel width which means there is little trimming left to do after the lawns have been mowed.

A mulch plug can be purchased as an optional extra with the mower. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts and re-cuts the grass into tiny particles that are blown back onto the ground where they disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil.

The 84M has 7 cutting height settings from 25mm - 80mm ensuring the perfect height of cut for your lawn. Deck engagement couldn’t be simpler; you just have to pull the control switch for 'On' and push it in for 'Off'. For added versatility you can purchase a tow bar, rear grass deflector and mulch kit. The pin hitch tow bar will allow you to use attachments such as leaf sweepers or trailers. Mountfield recommend this ride-on for mowing areas up to 4,000 sqm
