Mountfield MTF 84 H – 1530H Petrol Garden Tractor (Hydrostatic Transmission)

The MTF 84H features a 414cc Mountfield ST 400 engine, hydrostatic transmission, 84cm (33 inch) cutting width and spacious 200 litre grass collector. The cutting decks have anti-scalp wheels fitted, the deck then 'floats' over the ground preventing 'scalping' and giving a cleaner cut. With it's overall width of just over a metre it is ideal for smaller gardens which need a ride on mower to fit through narrow access points.

The hydrostatic transmission has a reverse gear and with a turning circle of just 180cm can equal the handling of compact ride-on mowers around trees, paths and borders. The Mountfield MTF84H Hydro lawn tractors cut wider than their wheel width which means there is little trimming left to do after the lawns have been mowed. A mulch plug can be purchased as an optional extra with the mower. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts and re-cuts the grass into tiny particles that are blown back onto the ground where they disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil.

The Mountfield MTF 84 H gives you 7 cutting height settings from 25mm - 80mm so you can choose the best height for the grass and working conditions. Engaging the cutting deck couldn?t be simpler; you just have to pull the control switch for 'On' and push it in for 'Off'.
