The Mountfield Empress 46 Li is a 48v cordless lawnmower and part of the Freedom 500 series.  The walk behind rotary mower features a sturdy 46cm steel deck, 4-in-1 mowing options and self-propelled drive. Comes with 2 4Ah lithium batteries and a dual battery charger. The 500 series of garden tools is powered by a 48v lithium battery system where one battery powers the entire 48v freedom 500 range. Battery power is quieter and cable-free. The lack of emissions will work towards reducing your household’s carbon footprint and benefits from fewer running costs.

The 46cm robust steel deck has an anti-scalp plate for protecting the mower and turf. The self-propelled drive moves the mower forward without any effort to push. The Empress 46 Li battery mower has larger rear wheels for extra traction and manoeuvrability. There are plenty of options for your grass cuttings, the Empress 46 Li rotary mower includes collect, mulch, rear and side discharge functions. The ample 60 litre grass box is constructed to include a sturdy hard top and aerated fabric bag, it also incorporates a grass bag full indicator to avoid over filling. The rear/side discharge and mulching functions speed up mowing by leaving the cuttings in neat rows or creating a delicate mulch for fertilising the lawn.

Using the recommended 2 x 4Ah batteries the Empress 46 Li is suitable for gardens up to 550sqm with a run time dependent on conditions of 25mins. The mower is compatible with all the batteries and chargers in the Stiga, Mountfield and ATCO Freedom 500 series /  range.
