These uniquely designed Portek Powerstrim heads make use of multiple lines instead of the standard single type. With multiple pieces of line in use they will wear down slower and be more effective. As the heads can be fitted with any gauge nylon line you can choose the best size for the job. Star profile line is excellent to use in the heads. Starline is preferred by professionals due to its thickness and durability.
The Portek heads will fit all straight shaft brush cutters designed to take a blade with an engine size of 18cc and over. For heavy duty brushcutters over 30cc there is an aluminium head the Powerstrim 4 Pro and for machines over 36cc the Powerstrim 6 mulching head. The mulching head has a 3 tier cutting design which cuts and mulches whilst you strim. Easy to fit and adjust. Portek 3mm square and 4.4mm star line is available to use with all three Powerstrim heads including the Powerstrim 4.
