Side discharge lawn & garden tractors are popular with users who have more than just lawns to mow. Paddocks, orchards and other informal grass areas will prove no match for these powerful and versatile Stiga garden tractors. In areas where any grass clippings can be left without collecting or in longer growth areas a side discharge tractor is very useful. The cut grass is deposited in neat lines alongside the machine where it can be left to wilt back naturally.
The Stiga Tornado 2098M has a 98cm cutting width and manual drive with 5 forward gears and 1 reverse.
The 98cm side discharge cutter deck fitted on the Tornado 2098M uses 2 blades with 2 anti-scalp wheels. The anti-scalp wheels help the deck to ‘float’ over the ground so the blades don’t scalp or tear the grass. The 2 blades are set in an optimum position for the most effective side discharge cutting. The cutting heights can be adjusted through 7 settings from 25 - 80mm.
Powering the Tornado 2098M is a Stiga single cylinder engine. The 7050 petrol engine delivers a powerful 352cc so tackling tough terrain and longer growth areas is no problem. A 6 litre petrol tank means you can work for longer periods without having to re-fuel.
The Stiga Tornado 2098 M has some great features including the large 18” rear wheels, front bumper, mulch plug, washing link, and headlights. A tow hitch is available as an optional extra.
