I spent a lot of time researching scarifiers online and am very happy with this machine. I had wanted a petrol scarifier to avoid having messaged about with a cable, but most were out of stock, so I ended up with this much cheaper electric model. It works very well - albeit the cable is a nuisance - but at this price it is not a problem.

Item was delivered very promptly and Mowers online are very efficient. The Al-KO 38e combi is very effective, the only criticism is that the collector box fills extremely quickly and I had to spend a lot of time manually raking up the debris. However this is a common problem on all makes of electric lawn rakes. I consider the AL-KO 38 a good buy.

This arrived soon after ordering and i have been able to use it once. All seems excellent although i had to spend time which of the 2 bits did which function. greater clarity as to what each bit actually does wouldn't go amiss. And the other issue was the lack of clear assembly instructions. The machine itself looks like it could be very capable of the job for which it was bought. The collector box is a bit flimsy and a bit awkward because it is wider than the frame above it.

Excellent product, arrived on time. Put together and used within an hour. Easy to use, the basket soon fills up but thats no problem.
