Designed with smaller gardens and lawns in mind, the Mountfield 1328H compact ride on mower handles perfectly, even in the most restricted areas. Fitted with a 352cc Stiga engine it performs efficiently in all working conditions with power to spare.
The hydrostatic (automatic) transmission gives infinitely variable speed control at the touch of a lever. The 72cm (28") working width cutter deck ensures perfect grass cutting and collection whatever the conditions. Grass clippings are discharged to the rear of the machine; this keeps the overall width to a mere 77cm (30"). The 170 litre capacity grass collector can be emptied from the driving position.
An audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full.

Never had a ride on mower before but can fully recommend this one it makes cutting the lawn a real pleasure so easy to use I now look forward to cutting the lawn, not only is it very easy to drive but also does a really good cutting job

The machine was difficult to off-load from the delivery pallet and the instruction booklets are less than perfect, and would benefit from a complete and more comprehensive re-write supported by better illustrations.
Apart from those observations the machine seems to be OK and it will be interesting to judge at the end of the mowing season. Back-up from sales at mowers-online was OK
