Cobra MM51B 51cm Push Petrol Mulching Lawn mower

Cobra introduced from 2015 a dedicated mulching mower to their range of garden machinery. All the Cobra power equipment has been designed in Britain with the British working conditions in mind. The Cobra MM51B is built to mulch grass in a domestic garden setting. Mulching while mowing cuts the grass clippings into very fine pieces which are virtually impossible to see. These tiny trimmings are thrown back onto the ground where as they decompose the soil and grass roots are provided with nutrients and essential moisture.

When you use a lawnmower for mulching grass always start at the highest cutting position available and work down. Use the 3rd cut rule and only cut a 3rd of the grass height at a time. This will ensure the best cut and finish to the grass area and reduces the strain on the mowers engine and cutter blade.

The Cobra MM51B gives you the choice of 5 cutting heights from 30mm right up to 75mm for the longest grass. The 5 stages can be adjusted using just 1 lever located on the rear right hand wheel. The MM51B is hand-propelled and is powered by a reliable and very efficient 140cc Briggs & Stratton 500E series petrol engine. The 500E Ready Start engines have a best in class performance offering lower emissions. A Briggs and Stratton Ready Start engine has an automatic choke so no priming is needed.
