The 1530 H features a 414cc Mountfield ST 400 engine, hydrostatic transmission, 84cm (33 inch) cutting width and large 240 litre rear grass collector. The cutter decks have anti-scalp wheels fitted, the deck then floats over the ground preventing 'scalping' and giving a cleaner cut. The Mountfield 1530H is a great introductory model to the world of ride on mowing. With it's overall width of just over a metre it is ideal for smaller gardens which need a ride on mower to fit through narrower gates or paths. The hydrostatic transmission has a reverse gear and with a turning circle of just 180 cm can equal the handling of smaller compact ride on machines around trees, paths and borders. The Mountfield 1530H Hydro lawn tractors cut wider than their wheel width which means there is little trimming left to do after the lawns have been mowed. A mulch plug can be purchased as an optional extra with the machine. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts and re-cuts the grass into tiny particles that are blown back onto the ground where they disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil.The Mountfield 1530H gives you 7 different cutting heights from 25mm - 80mm ensuring the perfect height of cut for your grass.
