An extremely useful 100kg capacity battery operated outdoor cart to help with moving gardening and DIY waste and supplies. The Greenworks 40v garden cart is self-propelled so provides that added power and push needed on sloping ground (max 20⁰). The cart / barrow is fitted with a quick release tipping mechanism so you can unload quickly and easily. The variable speed setting has 2 forward and 1 reverse gear so backing out or around tight spots is easy.
The G40GC has a loading capacity of 100kg / 160L so with the solid plastic bed can be filled with either dry or wet material. It can travel up to 8km on a single charge and can run for up to 100 minutes with one 2Ah battery. The cart uses 2 x 40v 2Ah lithium-ion batteries which will charge in 60 minutes and will run for approx. 20 minutes. As an optional extra you can buy and fit the 40v 4Ah batteries which will give approx. 45 minutes operating time.
Both size 40v batteries and the battery charger are compatible with all the Greenworks 40v products.

Brilliant barrow, with several tons of building material to move uphill I was pleasantly surprised when this barrow just pulls effortlessly uphill with a full load, and having a spare battery ready to pop in when needed it just keeps going. and being electric instead of petrol its silent running with no messy fuel or maintenance to deal with. I would recommend this barrow, worth every penny.

This is a great help to me in the garden. It can take a huge load and effortlessly move it around even up some quite hilly parts. The 2 supplied batteries are plenty for my use. No problems so far.

Brilliant barrow, I have a weak artitic shoulder with a replacement joint, so this is ideal as I can turn and steer it with one hand. Copes with slopes, concrete and grass. The flat base means I can carry water containers, bales of hay or bedding easily any distance. For inside the stables, it turns through doors and is very quiet, so does not frighten the horses.
The foot brake holds is safe while loading and unloading. Tipping is an easy one handed task too.
Access to check and change battery is at the right position. Plus only two bolts with easy fasteners to unpack, set up and go! -

This is an excellent buy, ii is extremely well made and apart from having to attach two u-bolts to secure the handle it is fully assembled .The square design of the plastic bucket holds much more than a conventional wheelbarrtow and it tips - brilliant. What I did not think was made clear is that it comes with a spare battery so providing it is charged it doubles the length of time it is mobile. This to my way of thinking is an added selling point. Normally you have to buy a spare battery and it is nearly as expensive as the complete product. Full marks to Greenworks. The battery slots into a holder beside the handle which is much more convenient than my present machine where is is accessed underneath the barrow. All in all in my opinion an excellent buy.
