Check your eligibility

Before you apply, please note that you will only be considered for finance if you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are in regular full or part-time employment (minimum 1 hour per week or £10,000 income per annum), unless you are retired and receiving a private or company pension, or you are in receipt of disability living allowance
• Are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits

Will I be accepted for finance?

Whether you’re accepted for finance or not depends on many different factors. At Snap Finance they have a dedicated credit team that uses their bespoke credit engine to help them reach decisions. Snap Finance will perform a search with one or more Credit Reference Agencies to conduct their creditworthiness and affordability assessment to help them make their decision. This search will appear on your credit file and will be visible to other lenders if you apply for credit with them in future.

In some cases, your application will be referred for further assessment. You may be asked to provide some more information to help Snap Finance make their decision. If this does happen, you will be told whether your application has been accepted as soon as the decision is made.

What do I do if I have been declined?

If your application was declined, Snap Finance may be unable to give you specific reasons why. Snap Finance uses information from your credit report, alongside your income and expenditure data to make a lending decision. When will I receive a copy of my loan agreement?

As part of your application on the Snap platform, you will be presented with pre-contractual information and a copy of your credit agreement for you to digitally sign. Please take time to check the details in these documents are correct and that you understand the amount and frequency of your payments before you sign. Once your deposit has been paid, a copy of your e-signed credit agreement will be emailed to you.

Payments and Order

Your payments will be taken by Direct Debit using the details you provide during your application. If you’d like, you can make additional payments by debit or credit card.

I want to amend my order.

If you have been approved for finance, the amount or term cannot be amended. You will need to contact us Cheltenham Mowers Ltd (mowers-online) to amend the goods or services you ordered and you may need to complete a new application for finance.

Please note we cannot guarantee a new credit application will be approved. All credit applications will leave a credit “footprint” on your credit history.

Cancellations and Returns

You will have a 30-day cooling off period, during which you can cancel your finance agreement.

To cancel your finance agreement, you will need to contact us Cheltenham Mowers Ltd (mowers-online) and arrange to return your purchase or cancel the services. Once we have confirmed cancellation, we will advise Snap Finance to cancel your finance agreement and refund any payments that have been made. Please note that if you have used the goods and they can no longer be sold as new then we may need to make an adjustment to your refund to reflect the reduction in the value of the goods.

If you have made an in-store application, we will refund any deposit payments that you made.

Please note: in some cases and depending on the nature of the product or service you have purchased, you will not be able to return your goods. Our terms and conditions will explain the types of goods that cannot be returned.

There is a 30-day cooling-off period where you can withdraw from the credit agreement after signing your documents. If you wish to do this, please contact us Cheltenham Mowers Ltd (mowers-online) directly. We can cancel the application on your behalf. There is no need to contact Snap or your lender.

A payment plan does not affect our standard refund and returns policy. Just contact us and we’ll cancel your application. Your lender will refund your deposit and let you know if you have any balance to repay.
