The EGO HT-6500E 56V Power + hedge trimmer uses a lithium-ion rechargeable battery to power its 65 cm double sided blades. The laser cut steel blades are diamond ground for a precise, clean finish to the cut. Made from hardened steel the clean cut of the blade helps to encourage new growth in hedges and shrubs. At the end of the blades is a pruning segment for sawing thicker hedge and shrub stems or branches up to ¾ “ thick. The end blade protector protects the blade when cutting at right angles to a wall or solid fence. The EGO HT6500E also has a 2 speed function so you can adapt to the task. Using the hedge cutter at the lower speed also helps to extend the run time of the machine. With the 56V 2.0Ah battery fully charged you can get up to an 50 minutes of cutting from the Ego HT6500E hedge cutter. A light weight machine at only 2.9kg (without battery) the EGO hedge trimmer is comfortable to use with a soft grip D-style handle. Can be used with all size batteries in the EGO Power + range. I purchased this product to take advantage of the extra 2.5 battery offered with an ego mower. I have been really pleased with the product much easier to use than my petrol equivalent and no issues with duration. Cuts easily and is setup in a way that allows you to keep a straight and uniform edge. My property is surrounded by a 7ft privet hedge with hawthorn to the front, no issues on either of these, great quality.

We have only used in once but very successfully. It is powerful but pretty heavy. I found it difficult to use for the higher sections so handed over to my husband

This is a great hedge cutter. I work as a professional gardener and needed something cordless, effective and reliable. It ticks all the boxes and is also light enough for a lady gardener to use!
