The Stihl MSA 140 C-BQ is a cordless chainsaw and comes supplied with an AK 20 battery and charger. Lightweight and perfectly balanced, this compact chainsaw is ideal for cutting firewood and tree maintenance in the garden. The Stihl has all the same features as the MSA 120 C-BQ, but has 25% more cutting performance. This chainsaw has been awarded a 'Quiet Mark' which makes it one of the quietest tools on the market.Quiet, emission-free with minimal running costs, the Stihl cordless range of gardening tools give you the freedom to work cable-free and are the ideal choice for contractors and homeowners. Stihl’s powerful lithium-ion batteries are designed to match petrol power, but without the fumes and running costs.The MSA 140 C-BQ is lightweight and quiet-running due to the efficient EC brushless motor. Unlike petrol engines, brushless motors do not require maintenance, they also offer a longer product life than brushed versions. The MSA 140 C-BQ kit includes an AK 30 battery offering up to 180 cuts on a single charge. All Stihl batteries come with a LED charge level indicator to let you know when to recharge. There are two stages to the battery connection; the 1st stage is neutral which leaves the battery in position for transportation, but not connected; the 2nd connects the battery for use.The MSA 140 C-BQ is packed full of Stihl features:

• Control Lever: This features an interlock system for increased safety.
• Stihl’s additional braking system: The chain will stop if kickback is aggressive, during active actuation of the front hand guard, and also when you release the rear handle.
