ATCO’s Quattro 22SH BBC rotary mower has a productive and versatile cutting system. An innovative Twinclip blade has four cutting edges instead of two, designed to leave a precise finish to differing grass types but provide enhanced collection. The 4 in 1 mowing functions provide plenty of options for your grass cuttings. The ample 70 litre grass collector efficiently packs the cuttings giving more uninterrupted mowing time. With the fitting of the mulch plug a nutrient-rich natural fertiliser is created for your lawn, grass cuttings are reduced into an easily compostable consistency and blown back to the grass root. For areas with less foot traffic, the petrol rotary mower has side and rear discharge options which ejects the grass cuttings in rows to naturally decompose. Cutting heights are selected using a simple lever and offer a range of 25-77mm. A chassis mounted wash link attaches a standard garden hose for cleaning off after use.The 53cm /21" hybrid chassis is reinforced with a special J section lip that doubles the stiffness. The BBC stops the blades from turning without stopping the engine, this is a productive feature, saving time when emptying the grass bag or moving the mower across gravel or pathways. Other practical features include the heavy-duty handlebars which are adjusted into three positions using a simple one-click motion. The handlebar is enhanced with an anti-vibration system to reduce strain on the hands and arms.
