The Mantis Mini Cultivator (powered by mains electric motor) will cultivate and weed your garden, whilst the other attachments provided will allow you to scarify and aerate your lawn - and also cut clean and perfect edges where where your lawn meets the flower beds!The cultivator from Mantis has uniquely twisted tines which dig down a full 10 inches (25 cms) even in hard-packed earth. The tines revolve at 240 rpm - twice the speed of most tillers. Switch the tines around and dig just a few inches into the soil to weed a large 30 x 50 ft garden in half an hour. The scarifying attachment has 80 strong, flexible spring-steel picks which will gently pull up thatch across a 15 inch swath as you walk along behind it. Dethatch your lawn regularly in Spring and Autumn - especially before seeding or fertilizing. The lawn aerating attachment will cut thousands of tiny slits in your lawn to allow more air, water and nutrients to penetrate. This promotes the activity of beneficial soil micro-organisms and encourages healthy lawns. The border edger (which includes a rubber tyre wheel and a sharp steel slicer blade) will cut clean and perfect edges where your flower beds meet the lawn.
