The John Deere JX80:-

Features:

  • Features include a 53cm (21 inch) wide cast aluminium deck to resist rust and dents, with a deep deck design for superior cutting, strong air flow with excellent grass lift to completely fill the bag and a standard 5-speed transmission.
  • An easy starting 4.8kW (6.75hp) Kawasaki, 4 cycle engine features full pressure lubrication and overhead valves for long life.

    Please note: this mower is supplied by John Deere as a grass collection mower as standard. In order to mulch or discharge the cuttings on the lawn, you will need to purchase the optional mulch kit or discharge chute/deflector - please ring us on 01452-616169 for further details.

    Cutting & Blade Brake Clutch

  • The short 58cm wheelbase makes turning and precise trimming easier, especially along contoured landscaping.
  • The blade brake clutch (BBC) is a safety compliance system on the JX80.
  • This means that when the operator presence bail is released, the blade will stop within 3 seconds, but the engine will continue to run. This allows you to safely stop mowing, empty the grass bag and continue to mow without having to restart the engine.
